Is minoxidil safe for long-term use?
Topical minoxidil has been used for decades and is generally well tolerated. Scalp irritation is the most common issue; report anything unusual to a doctor or pharmacist.
Can women use the men's 5% products?
Women should follow products labelled for them: 2% solution twice daily or 5% foam once daily where labelled. See the women's guide.
